Thought works with mnesic tracks of percepts. The stronger have been the impressions, the more they feed thought.
Work means for thought as for mechanic: it performs movements.
First, strong impressions are used to build some composite images by means of displacements and condensations.
These composite images are properly thoughts. Made with passed experiences, those images guide acts and behaviors, inspire them.
As the former impressions are first inscribed in memory, the composite images, performed by work of thought, are inscribed in their turn. They can be browsed, called back and recomposed.
For now, language has taken no role. It is however virtually present in the process. Language merges impressions (mnesic tracks of percepts), symbolic composite images, and system of signs.
Sentences provided by such a system are themselves inscribed in memory. Speech proceeding facilitates first this inscription: rimes, rhythm, melody, repetitions
Here, language is yet lyric. Lyric numerises work of thought to inscribe it in memory without needing conscious attention.
Thought increases so its working force: reminiscence, displacement, condensation
This increasing may be lost if the original impression vanishes during the process. It is important that the impression which is at the source of the thought remains vivid.
Thought works easily with speech, which is supple but passing. Writing consistence improves browsing, but decrease the suppleness and the vividness of enunciation.
Numerisation renders text as editable, changeable, reiterable as the speech without rending it as fleeting.
